Funded in May of 2023, Developmental Research Projects expand the scope and range of research, investigators, and institutions involved in READDI-AC to allow for testing of novel ideas and development of new technologies.
The selected Projects add capacity for structure-based drug design of viral helicases with Dr. Joseph Newman at UCL and expand the Center’s target portfolio by introducing discovery efforts for inhibitors of the alphavirus nsp3 macrodomain with Drs. Bob Bourret, John Scott and Hernan Navarro at UNC and NC Central.
